The REAL community I am going to write my paper on is the Heroes message board through NBC's website. I felt unable to connect to the other site as I am only a novice and do not understand or know the language for professional artists. I will be able to participate more on this site and hope to produce a more interesting paper.

Traveling with purpose

OK, so for those of you who do not know who Ann Bancroft is, I would recommend checking out her site. This women crossed Antarctica with nothing but a sled and one other co-traveler. I think she took 100 days to do it. Pretty cool. Her foundation is one that myself and 5 other women will be asking for support in our 3 month canoe adventure in the Canadian arctic in 2010. Sunshine 24/7 and tons of bugs. I cant wait.

Post 2

Second week of class and things seem to be going smoothly. I am getting ready to graduate in december and feel nostalgic when I look back at the last 4 years. Knowing that I wont be living here again once I leave makes the whole graduating thing more dramatic. However, exploring new places is exciting and holds promise for greater experiences.
